How Does Dexcom CGM Work?

 

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) is a diabetes management tool that measures glucose levels 24 hours a day using a sensor inserted just under the skin.


The device wirelessly transmits glucose readings every five minutes to a compatible smartphone, smart watch or Receiver.9 It provides you with real-time interstitial glucose readings but can also alert you when your levels are too high or drop too low.
